It hasn't been "YEARS" It's been just over one year. Barely over a year. You were promised nothing. Media Molecule would not be doing any wrong by not giving you a code.
You should just be grateful to have been given the fantastic opportunity that is being in a Beta for such a revolutionary game.
If they haven't been given out yet, then I assume you won't be getting one anyway. Your spelling, grammar, and attitude suggest that you're probably 12, or maybe younger. You seem to expect people to just drop everything and work towards what YOU want-- and that's not how life works, my friend. I can very easily tell you're not the yellowest banana in the bunch, and I'm going to assume that you didn't report many bugs, and certainly nothing big and game breaking, aka what people are given bug blasters for.
If you 'lose all respect' for one company just because they didn't give you a FREE digital costume, then I don't think you're old enough (or at the very least not mature enough) to participate in betas.
So please. Be quiet.
When you say "it's just a costume and that's all it will ever be" you could say that about anything really, it's just a car or it's just a house. Ratfire was one of the people who were actually promised a code for a bug blaster, he helped report the god glitch and was promised one but the code he got didn't work and people were promised new ones but never got one. I'm just saying if something was promised to me I would want it.

Can't say I agree with you there. If you are promised something by someone else, and the other person fails to deliver, then there is something wrong. What the promise was for is really irrelevant. The fact of the matter is that one side of the agreement has yet to deliver. It really comes down to the principle of the matter.
Perhaps in this case, it's not to the degree where legal action can be taken, but it definitely calls into question the ethics of the individual responsible for delivering the said promise. Of course, the fact that there is no legal incentive to do anything is probably the reason why they have not made any effort to remedy the situation. This really isn't the first time they have made promises that they have yet to make good on.
On top of that, besides basically insulting his intellegence, the fact that you tell him to shut up, when he has a valid complaint, is an insult to the intellegence of everyone else in the community. Assuming you have the capacity, you really should try to carry yourself with a little more class when dealing with others.
We have all purchased the game. Therefore, we have purchased the right to complain, if we so choose. It's called customer service, every one of us is a customer, and for some, MM is getting a failing grade. Not for what they are doing, but what they are choosing to basically ignore. In this case, they are choosing to ignore one of their customers. If you choose not to say anyting, or not to care, then that's your choice. Don't expect everyone to share the same standards that you do.

lol, same situation but just be patient it will happen and if not then you can wonder why you are so mad, it IS just a costume that makes you feel better about yourself.
Who needs bug blaster costume? I mean its just as the other costumes. Nothing special. You take it on for a couple of days, then you get bored at it. Just like the other costumes. So i dont see the point to keep begging if the costume itself is nothing special. By the way, you should be glad you got beta test vest. Some people never even got to join a LBP beta. And infact i think there wont be any LBP betas anymore.
Besides, the game is meant to have fun and create. So do that instead than creating topics about this. Be patient. If you havent got anything after some months. Then who cares? Really, its just a costume.
That's always what people say. "It's just a costume." Well, here is what I have to say about that garbage. You may say that, but it is "just a costume" that people were promised. For example, lets look at this random analogy.
Let's say you won a TV in a raffle for finding something great. They give you the card or whatever to go pick up the TV at the store, and when you get there, they say the TV is not yet available and they are waiting for more to be sent in and stocked. A few years later, you get so tired of asking about the TV, that you forget about it, and feel cheated.
Now, you can reply and flame all you want about my stupid, incoherent analogy, but it is the same idea as what happened during the LBP2 Beta, whether you like it or not. Sure, its more important than a digital costume, but related nonetheless. Considering the amount of work myself and countless others put into the LBP2 Beta looking for bugs, we deserve to be further updated on the status of these costumes. It has been years, and Media Molecule has given us a grand total of ONE update on their status, and that was months ago. It's time to update us on what is going on, and take action in this matter before starting any more projects. I have given my full support to MM by purchasing all of their games, and the DLC for each, but now I am quickly losing this faith. Not over the costume, but more-so over the lack of support and communication. At the very least they could just admit the Bug Blasters are not coming to those who earned them, and put them out of this misery.
I know about that. What you promise should come true. Its kinda not nice of Mm. But anyway. Ok lets say you got it. What would you do with it? Wear it, ofcourse. What about the next few days? Its gonna collect dust. So either way, its nothing something worth arguing on.
Otherwise i know that if people promise something, they should give it afterwards.
But i dont know. Maybe try to contact once again Mm?
